The Friends of Teesside Archives is a charity with the aim of:

"advancing the education of the general public by promoting, supporting and assisting in the conservation, preservation and maintenance of the archive services provided in the area covered by the former County of Cleveland"

Our volunteers index, digitise, transcribe and catalogue valuable documents for the benefit of all those who use the archives. We also help in preservation work and raise funds.

The society arranges meetings throughout the area, with speakers on a wide variety of topics. There are also visits to museums and places of historic interest.

If you have any enquiries, you can get in touch by clicking "Contact us" on the menu left.

We always welcome new members.
